About Override Technologies
We are a cybersecurity assessment firm built specifically for the federal compliance environment — staffed by practitioners who have worked inside the agencies and programs we now assess.
Our Mission
Override Technologies was founded on a straightforward premise: federal cybersecurity compliance is too important to be treated as a checkbox exercise. Agencies and contractors operating under FISMA, FedRAMP, and CMMC face real consequences when assessments are superficial — failed authorizations, delayed programs, and genuine security gaps that go unaddressed.
We built Override to do it differently. Our assessors bring direct federal experience — not just familiarity with the frameworks, but hands-on work inside the programs those frameworks govern. That background shapes how we approach every engagement: with rigor, precision, and a clear understanding of what's actually at stake.
Our Operating Principles
Rigor Over Speed
We don't cut corners to close engagements faster. Every assessment is thorough, every finding is documented with evidence, and every recommendation is actionable.
Federal Context
We understand the operational realities of federal programs — budget cycles, mission constraints, and the political dimensions of authorization decisions.
Assessor Independence
Our assessors maintain independence from implementation work. We assess what's there, not what we built — so our findings mean something.
Continuous Improvement
Compliance isn't a one-time event. We help clients build programs that sustain authorization and improve security posture over time.
Credentials & Expertise
Our team holds active clearances, graduate degrees, and industry certifications across the full federal compliance stack.
